Mamiya's new unique 6x7 format rangefinder is now even more versatile. The Mamiya 7 II is the only 6x7cm rangefinder system which features either interchangeable leaf shutter lenses or a light metre. Its compact design makes it one of the smallest, lightest cameras in its class, bringing users unlimited portability. This new model incorporates all the features and functions of the original Mamiya 7 into a new design that emphasises both simple operation and easy mobility.

The precision rangefinder is ideal for quick, accurate focusing, particularly in dim lighting conditions. The Mamiya 7 II has high visibility frame lines in the focusing system so the bright frame appears clearly in the rangefinder, even in the most intense ambient light. The Mamiya 7 II offers double exposure capability and it uses all Mamiya 7 lenses, including the latest 50mm f/4.5 super-wide lens and the 210mm f/8, both with optical finder.

Quiet and lightweight, the Mamiya 7 II has a built-in Aperture Priority A/E metre with fully manual exposure capability, allowing incredibly detailed 'Ideal Format' images to be captured with ease. The camera also boasts exposure compensation with a new lock-release lever and one-touch operation. A separately available adapter opens up a new world of photographic potential by making professional 35mm panorama photography a reality.
