The Panasonic Micro 4/3rds 20mm f1.7 LUMIX G pancake lens is based on the Micro Four Thirds System standard. It is both compact and lightweight despite its large f/1.7 brightness which creates a beautiful soft focus and makes your photos even more impressive. Comprising 7 lenses in 5 groups, the lens system uses 2 aspherical lenses to minimise distortion and chromatic aberrations (colour fringing), achieving high resolution corner to corner. The versatile 20mm focal distance (40mm in 35mm camera terms) is suitable for a wide variety of occasions from daily snapshots including sunsets and dimly lit indoor shots to the deliberately creative shots taking advantage of its 7 bladed circular aperture which offers a beautiful soft focus effect. When mounted on the LUMIX G Micro System Cameras, the LUMIX G 20mm f/1.7 lens allows the use of the advanced contrast AF system, including the Face Recognition function, for more convenient, more enjoyable shooting.
