With a 35mm-equivalent range of 24mm wide-angle to 157.5mm telephoto, the Sony SAL-16105 is perfect for capturing faraway subjects, sports events, dramatic landscapes and intimate close-ups.

Constructed of 15 elements in 11 groups, including ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements to rigorously compensate for chromatic aberration, the SAL-16105 offers superb sharpness and contrast even at full telephoto extension. It also offers an internal focusing system provides fast responsive auto-focusing without affecting the balance of the camera. The SAL-18250?? aperture blades form a near circle at the wide openings used for low-light shots giving spot-light sources a pleasing circular defocused effect.
